Mercure Hotel Hamm Restaurant

We ate here while we stay overnight. Food can't blame. I had a chicken club sandwich with fries while my husband had roasted potatoes in the harbor. When we saw the size of the duck with potatoes, we thought it was a very small part for the price of €16.50, but my husband couldn't eat anything though he really wanted. The club sandwich was huge and I also got a large part of Fritten, it cost 10 € and again, I couldn't eat it all. The white wine I had was 4 € for a large glass, it was nice and worth the price. My Hubby had a beer for 3 € and he said it was nice. We sat and served quickly, the staff was nice. Breakfast was also very nice, so much choice. There were bacon, sausages, eggs, toast, various bread and rolls, cold meat and cheese, croissants, fruit and jam. There are also plenty of tea, coffee and juices. It was buffet service so you wanted as much as you wanted. The staff was nice again. I really can't blame anything and I would recommend everyone to stay here.

We stayed overnight as two couples and entertained some family for a meal at the restaurant. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The restaurant offered a good menu and the food was very good. The staff was helpful and friendly. Location was excellent in the center of Hamm near shopping and transportation. We were seated and served quickly, the staff were all lovely.The breakfast was very nice as well, so much choice. There was bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, toast, different bread and buns, cold meats and cheeses, croissants, fruit and jams. Plenty tea, coffee and juices available as well. It was buffet service, so you could have as much as you wanted. Again, the staff were lovely. I really can't fault anything and I would recommend to anyone staying here.

We were just driving through and it was a nice stop. As per the tradition in small town Germany everything is closed on Sunday... Even the hotel restaurant... We were very hungry and had to eat at Burger King because even grocery stores are closed
