We decided to make the best of it as we'd wanted to try this place for months. Next after a 30 minute wait our appetizers finally arrived and were warm not hot in the least. Now we are waiting and waiting for our food. I should say there was 1 other party of 4 and 3 parties of 2 in the restaurant. After an hour after our appetizers our waitress came by to tell us they were out of food items we had ordered!! To say we were not happy is an understatement. We were assured our food minus the we are out of items was coming. Well it finally arrived after another 20 minutes and it was cold, not warm from the smoker cold. Beyond ticked by now I told our waitress of our issues and asked to speak to a manager, who never came. Finally I paid our bill and left after saying no we aren't happy and no we will not come back. Now I'm sure the owner will have some great come back as they have with other negative reviews. All I say is we won't go back and I will never recommend this establishment to anyone.

We h... read more Brought my husband here for his birthday. : He had wanted to come here for quite some time. To say we were disappointed is an understatement unfortunately. We had high hopes. Tried to remain objective. Let me start with the good things first. Nice place, nicely decorated, good atmosphere, wait staff friendly and kept our drinks full, menu has a lot of choices. Now the bad....there were 5 of us, everyone's meals were cold except for the hamburger and my baked potato and macaroni and cheese. My baked potato looked great but it was very hard, very undercooked as well as the fries they were like raw potatoes. . We got brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken but it was all very cool. They didn't have several things we wanted that were on the menu. No fried pickles, no ribs, no fried banana peppers, no Starry, no root beer, no PEPSI!!! interestingly enough...they brought us samples of meat and collard greens then two of us ordered the collard greens and after waiting well over an hour they came out and told us they didn't have collard greens. The hamburger had wrong toppings, the tater tots were hard as a rock and one of us asked for a toasted bun which wasn't on the plate, we asked for it again and still never got it. Overall we waited nearly two hours for our food that wasn't really good and was $130. I can't say I would come back again or recommend to anyone else after this experience.
