We booked a table for a group of friends at a recent burlesque night and I can happily report that the whole group had an amazing time!For $30-35 a head we got dinner and the show, the dinner was a HUGE and tasty schnitty with a few sauce/topping options and the show was hilarious!Drinks were reasonably priced, and the whole place just had a fun atmosphere.We will absolutely be back to see some of the other shows in... What User doesn't like about Kavon Theme Restaurant:
I went there with friends for Halloween. We payed to get in and there were a total of 3 patrons there in the entire place plus a bar tender, a cook and a rather surly looking manager. The food was terrible. No atmosphere. No one spoke to us unless it was to tell us how much our drinks were.It looked like the set of a pre-school musical with a $50 budget. We couldnt wait to leave. What an experience. Yes, this place is not only for the over 18s. The children laughed, danced and had a great time. I've been over 18 years. A must for everyone, great night, whether a small group or big, birthday, Christmas or just one night out. Not many places in these days you have a dinner and a show in a place. Xoxo
As always, the Kavon delivered another great night full of fun. We were at the weekend for a friend's birthday party for the Burlesque show. It laughed from the beginning to the end of the show. I love how interactive they are with the audience. The food was nice and the drinks menu is great so much to choose. But would recommend getting the jugs.
I can't recommend the Kavon. We took family and friends for my husband's birthday. Funny show, our whole party enjoyed it. Great food and fantastic staff. We had a great night.
The show loved dinner was also nice, the best night I had in Newcastle, not enough of these kinds of shows around. Great praise for the actors they were professional and did not break the character.
It'd been a long time since I had been to the Kavon. I remembered it as a fun night out, ok food, good entertainment but wow, how it has changed, for the better. Show was great, talented singers, quick witted comic MCs Food has improved a lot, more choices and better quality. Even the venue looks great. If you've been before and had a good night, or not been before, go back now for a great one! We all had the best time, my friend are still talking about it!!
