We were staying at the Tudor Inn across the road, and decided to give Camilos a go for breakfast. So glad we did. The Spanish lady was so friendly it felt like home.I had one of the best cappuchinos there, and the poached eggs on toast were excellent. View all feedback.
I took a midday brunch en route to the railway station and couldn't believe how good the food was. I must have eaten the best omelette of all time. The cafe is very basic but the service and food are excellent. Didn't expect to see this cafe in Trip Advisor.
We had an opportunity for a date night and headed to Hamilton for a choice of eateries. We had been to Cafe Camilos for an after show supper last year and the service was lovely - they recommended we return for their pizzas another time.Being quite casually dressed we thought we'd give this a try. The decor is basic but the service is excellent. We ordered a bruschetta to share for an entree which was nice, although the bread was a little chewy. For mains we asked the owner for his recommendation of pizza. The pizza was delivered piping hot, with an excellent crisp crust and was delicious.Total cost for a lovely meal $26.50Service and food are very good. Good old fashioned value and service in a corner shop style of decor.
Very friendly staff, the owner was very friendly and loved having a chat while I waited for my takeaway meal. although this cafe is small its very cute and cosy
