I highly recommend their Sunday lunches, especially the traditional steak pie with potatoes and vegetables. The restaurant is kid-friendly and offers a reasonably priced kids menu. The menu had a lot of options, and we decided to go for the set menu which included two courses for £7.95. The portion sizes were generous. I ordered the macaroni with chips, which was tasty and served very hot. The server was polite and friendly. The only downside was that there were some older men at the bar, presumably regulars, who kept staring at us while we were eating.

The macaroni cheese is a must-try, it is without a doubt the best I have ever had. My partner and I frequent this pub often and always enjoy our meals. The salads are consistently fresh and crisp, and the staff is more than willing to accommodate any menu requests. Additionally, they now offer reasonably priced 75cl bottles of wine, which is a great addition. Overall, the combination of excellent food and service keeps us coming back time and time again. It's a classic spot with great service and a welcoming smile.
