Located in the Hess Village which is not far from downtown (i.e convenient). Stopped by for a casual beer with some friends to catch-up. Good atmosphere. Fun patio and live music. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Lazy Flamingo:
Tuesday night patio dinner for 3. Sat outside. Waitresses ignored us for awhile. Then help later people before us. Bathrooms stunk like pee, all of our food was super bland (no spices). Wouldn't go back ! View all feedback.

Five of us went for lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The waitress was confused at times, but the food came fast and it was ok tasting. One of us had the thai chicken, it was good. I had the nachos - cheese not really melted, but ok. Hubby had philly cheese steak sandwich, said was okay. Son had wings - they looked pretty good and he said they were. It was so great to sit on a patio in Hess Village and as that was our main purpose, it was fine. Food and service not memorable but not terrible either.

Last summer when I was in my "new to Hamilton" phase, I had heard that there were some good restaurants on Hess Street. Alas, this was't one of them. The food is strictly bar fare --- burgers, salads, and things that come with a ton of fries. And my first two attempts at ordering were greeted with "we're out of that." One item I can understand. But two? The wine list is unimpressive and over-priced. The food, when it arrived, was ok but could have been warmer. And it took AGES given that neither the patio where we were seated nor the bar itself was busy. Service was friendly and efficient. The server was very apologetic about the two orders they couldn't fill. She DID vanish when it was time to pay the bill and I had to track her down. We won't be back.

The first time here. Super busy with St Patty’s Day. Even short staff we received a great service. The drinks were cold, hot, and the Irish melodies were blowing. Great time!

Meals are always good and the service is fast and friendly. Beer is good and cold and Vincenzo and Travis are friendly and friendly. The surroundings are casual and gay friendly.
