A hidden gem in South Carolina, Sombrero Restaurant offers a small grocery store and a large salad bar with clean and fresh products and fruits. They cater to vegans by offering substitutions for all menu items that contain animal products. Unfortunately, they do not have tacos with beans, meat, or cheese. The motel is clean with a heated indoor pool and a sauna. Breakfast options include fruit, coffee, and French fries. The staff is attentive and friendly. We visited twice and had no trouble finding vegan options. Overall, Sombrero Restaurant is a fun and quirky place to stop and rest during a long trip. Reviewed on May 6, 2019.

I enjoyed delicious tacos without meat or cheese during my visit. The motel was clean with a heated indoor pool and sauna. The French breakfast was exceptional and the staff was friendly and accommodating. This was my second visit and I had no trouble finding vegan options.
