I found the location very picturesque with a balcony to eat outdoors on these evenings with good weather. the modern facility was also very nice. Although pleasant, I found eating a little disappointing. my salat consisted in contrast to the hospitable next to me mainly of swirling and the portion of my appetizer was much smaller than that of an adjacent gaste. quality control seemed to be missing. eating was enough, but tastefully nothing special. I noticed some superb looking desserts, although I didn't try. as an option in hameln I would return, but only because the selection is limited in this picturesque small village.

When I got the bill I was confused. Instead of the for a Gin Tonic...as written in their menu they charged. for the Gin and for the Tonic. I asked the server about this and they say it's because usually they use the Gordon's Gin for Longdrinks. I look in the menu, Gordon's is Tanqueray is That's and not difference. She talks with the Barkeeper about having to discuss this again with a customer. They say That's how the owner wants it I call it fraud. If you wanna charge more than written on the menu, tell me beforehand!

Except for a small table, everything was really occupied. When we were there just before half ten, we're up to the top floor with the elevator. We thought we were there too early, but on the contrary, we were probably the last ones who were intruding. Nicely decorated (modern style large window front and terrace. We were taken at our table and asked for drinks. We all agreed, we first ordered three coffee pots (thermos at 7 euros each). Since the buffet was already in full swing, we also fell on it. Personally, I was thrilled with what was available for my protein needs ; Roastbeef, salmon, several ham varieties, cooking sausage, cheese, Camenbert, Matjes, scrambled eggs, etc. Of course also ample sweetness, which I left.
