They often offer tasty dishes outside the regular menu as well. Today, on Boxing Day, they served a four-course meal with live music. A perfect end to our Christmas holidays. We're already looking forward to the lovely evenings we'll spend there next year.

If you... read more We were there with about 10 people for a birthday celebration. Most of the food wasn 't bad, not particularly tasty, but okay. Others were simply wrong. If you explicitly order a dish WITHOUT mushrooms, you shouldn 't receive it WITH mushrooms! Three identical dishes (calzones) were presented very differently. One was very good and appetizing, the other two were simply prepared carelessly and without any effort! When I voiced my criticism, I was told it was just craftsmanship. After I stood my ground, it was improved and then at least looked significantly better. Why do they only make an effort when there are complaints? Many of my family 's dishes were simply quite bland and were only improved after we complained. For context, my family isn 't used to Michelin-starred cuisine! But in this price range, you have to expect more. The ready-made meals at the Rewe supermarket next door would probably have been just as good... what a shame. The service staff did try their best.

But why not show the guests to their table, give them the menu, and take their drink order? We were shown to our table. The server arrived fairly quickly with the menu but then disappeared immediately. We couldn't order drinks until we ordered our food. The wait for drinks, appetizers, and main courses was perfectly reasonable. I would appreciate it if the server checked in with us occasionally and also kept an eye on our drink supply. Come on! This is where you could be making money. The food itself was absolutely fantastic. The bruschetta, saltimbocca, and pasta were fresh, hot, and delicious. Next time, I'll definitely try the dessert.
