Reviews - Freskos
Reviews summary
Freskos presents a varied culinary experience, with reviews spanning from disappointing to rave. Many patrons found the gyros lacking flavor and dry, overshadowed by unexciting pita bread, while others praised the juiciness and seasoning of the meat. Service reports indicate a sparse smile quotient, with some staff interactions described as awkward. Portions have been criticized for being small and overpriced. However, for those lucky enough to visit on nights featuring special deals, the satisfaction level rises, with standout items like baklava and fresh souvlaki winning accolades. Overall, Freskos draws a split crowd, highlighting inconsistencies in food and service quality.

Just had a gyro with fries. Gyro meat was pretty much flavorless and tasted mainly the pita. It was also very dry and didn?t have much sauce on it at all. Not sure if it was a bad day for the chef but better off going to Cheshire pizza and paying 13dollars for a better gyro and fries included than 16 dollars here and the quality as bad.
Decent food, the gyros meat were well cooked but lacked flavors. I could only taste pita and the meat good in themselves but nothing gourmet. The veggie tofu option was a nice touch to the menu, didn?t see any falafel options. Service could do with asmile, otherwise efficient.
This place is simply amazing. The service is impressive, as well as the food. Gyros are so delicious, and the prices are great (I'm often visiting this restaurant on Mondays) I also absolutely love feta here. Size of the portions is just great. Amazingrestaurant.
Best greek food ever. I had the classic gyro with lettuce and a baklava cheesecake. Both were delicious!!! My boyfriend had the burger and was also blown away. Wish they?d bring this place to Orlando, FL ????
Been meaning to check out this greek spot for months after seeing multple posts from other reviewers. To keep it short I was disappointed. I ordered the village salad with chicken for about 16 dollars. The portion size was super small, definitely notworth the price. It was just ok, nothing to write more than a sentence about. It was a let down and I was still hungry aftereating that salad. Maybe next time I ll grab a gyro instead.

I ordered some bread with chicken that had just a hint of lemon flavor. The last time I checked, souvlaki is meant to be grilled on a skewer, but I received chicken that tasted more like it had been lightly boiled and then pan-fried. For almost $15, I got four pieces of lettuce, a few slivers of onion, and some tomato—very disappointing. I learned my lesson; I won’t be coming back. The food was extremely basic. To top it all off, I was asked to leave a tip while ordering online! What service am I tipping for? It’s laughable!
Greek is fun, eat with your hands food and these guys do it well. It may not be as delicious as the fare you'll find in the big city or Greece for that matter but it's perfectly edible and if you score a bench outside makes for a satisfying evening.
The food is incredibly fresh and prepared promptly. They truly serve the best Gyro and Souvlaki in the area. The service is outstanding; the young lady who works there on Fridays when I visit is exceptional. She has fantastic customer service skills and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. She even brings my order to my car, which shows just how thoughtful and kind she is.
Fantastic place. The classic gyro was perfect. The meat is exactly how you want it to be for Greek food and the rest of the gyro was very fresh. The service was great. And they serve Greek coffee, which is always a huge plus at a Greek spot. If you like Greek food, you'll really enjoy this place.

I'm so happy Freskos returned to their original chicken recipe—it truly makes all the difference. Their menu is fantastic, and I will definitely be ordering more often!
At Freskos, I found the salad disappointing because it lacked grape leaves and was quite small for the price on the menu.
Everything was amazing, but just a heads up: the chicken souvlaki is incredibly juicy—so much so that you’ll definitely need an extra napkin. Also, I noticed that the dill was missing from the souvlaki gyro, which I missed.
The vegetarian and vegan dishes at Freskos are truly delightful! Moreover, the staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Fresko's. It's our favorite spot for Greek cuisine. They offer an impressive variety of dishes that keep things interesting, and the authenticity is fantastic! My wife, who is a vegetarian, was thrilled to try the tofu souvlaki, and now she orders it every time. The service is consistently excellent, with friendly and helpful staff and a committed owner. I highly recommend this place!

Delicious gyros that are fresh and incredibly tasty. The staff are very friendly. I will definitely return and recommend this place!
Everything was excellent— the location, the prompt service, and the fantastic selection of food. I really enjoy coming here for lunch.
Last week, my husband picked up some food from your restaurant for dinner, and we were thrilled to try the gyros and souvlaki. I have to say, this was the best we've ever had! The feta cheese was creamy and rich, and the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender—absolutely fabulous. And the pita bread? Wow, I'm not sure if it's homemade, but it was SO delicious! We also loved the meal deal that came with a small salad and a soda. I highly recommend your restaurant, and we will definitely be coming back!
Best Gyro Evah! Meat is delicious I got olives (calamari) and feta with a side of Tzaziki and we got the orzo salad a little evoo and red wine vinegar and that was very good! delivered by Silver Spoon hot!

I was there on Wednesday, 3/1/2023. I wonder if there is a different chef working on different days since the 5 stars and 1 and 2 stars have such different reviews. My review is a two stars. I agree with the reviewers who complained about the food taste and quality, the customer lack of reception, and the cost for what you get. I ordered two items: a pork gyro and lemon potatoes. The gyro was not tasty, just blah., and small. The description of the lemon potatoes said with lemon and dill, $6 for 7 very small slices of potato, 1 very thin slice of lemon that if you didn't squeeze over the potato it would not be lemon potato (where was the lemon and dill sauce) and a tiny clip of dill. With the gyro, my bill was $19. 31, without tax it was $17.99. Too much for too little of mediocre food. I wish I had read the reviews before I stopped for the first take out and the last visit. Person behind counter taking order did not smile or offer greeting or anything other than write down order and take money.Reviewers, write down the day of the week, at least, that you were a customer. Let's see if the 5 star reviews end up to be on certain day/s. That may be the day of the week to visit. Maybe.
Great food, super fresh and delicious. Really good deals on Mondays and Thursdays to try other menu items. Good mix of choices from standard fare to classic Greek dishes. Quick and convenient, too. Staff super helpful and inviting.Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from
Always love coming by here if I need take out or comfort food.Delivery and pick up has always been great. Haven't dined in, but from what I can tell when I go in to pick up it is nice.Food: 5/5
Very good. I’ve been here before, about a year ago. Service was amazing and the restaurant was clean. I ordered through door dash tonight- food came very quickly.Got a gyro and grape leaves. You could tell the grape leaves were not old and were made fresh which is pretty rare for a lot of Greek places around here. Will never go back to Athena diner. Will just go here instead ?
Great Greek grub! The gyros are a MUST! Warm pita fully stuffed with tender meat, veggies, and tzatziki. I usually order it as a combo with fries and a drink. So goodKid-friendliness: Welcoming atmosphere and I think it's family owned.Parking: Reserved 30-minute restaurant parking right in front of the store plus additional parking in the plaza.
