A genuine warm welcome awaits from the lovely couple who own and run it... read more This is about the third incarnation of the bar in our local village and by far the best! A genuine warm welcome awaits from the lovely couple who own and run it. The bar has only a set lunch menu which is never a problem as the food has always been good. For around a tenner you will get three courses and a decent glass of wine or a small pitcher of cider. The bar is light and airy and you will not be made to feel an outsider. There is also a small "sports" room in the back with a great pinball machine. In good weather there are tables outside. All in all great value and a worthwhile stop over if you are passing through.
