Was Karl-Wilhelm Pieper at Zwick St. Pauli a mag?
This is one of my favorite places in Hamburg! Located in a quite place of the bustling Reeperbahn, just in front of the St. Pauli train station. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, friendly staff but food can be better. Usually on Fridays and Saturdays there is...a band playing live rock music and you can enjoy will you drink a beer. What Nathanael Hyatt dislikes about Zwick St. Pauli:
the zwick is a good starting point on the reeperbahn, if you just want to run so full. : there are drinks and cocktails of any kind and the prizes also go in order and are fully compatible with running. the guests are usually funny on it, the alcohol level is correspondingly high. You should not be sober here, because otherwise you feel like an alien in the midst of cheerful. what should I say : not my favorite locat... View all feedback.
Food is not the best but you receive what you pay for. Depending on the dish, you can receive large portions but not always the size is linked with the quality. They have an eat what you can ribs offer which is perfect for people who eat a lot and who are not very picky about the quality of the meat!
After a nice musical evening on the reeperbahn we wanted to take the mood a little and I suggested that my partner goes to the zod where I was already too hospitable. we have handed over a nicotine junkies that stood in front of the door and took at the place of the eise. decorated is the location with gitarren and photos of prominent musicians. there is a looser tonne between service and guests that I find very amusing. the service forces work superflott. Nobody has to wait for his drink for a long time. they have the choice between different common beer varieties, but as we were already in zoo, we ordered a zwickl 0.4l very tasty! and the prices are also completely ok. Finally, the position at the beginning of the reeperbahn is opposite the dancing towers. if they cross the road on the other side, they are directly at the metro station St. pauli. the toilets were not exactly clean, but the pub was also full, it was already late and swarm unfortunately there are everywhere. toilet paper was at least present - which is not important. the zwick is always worth a visit - when they get a place.
First time we've ever had lunch in a pub, my wife and I decided to try this place based upon recommendations from more than one travel blog. I've ordered a Currywurst, my wife a schnitzel, and a few beers each. Great service, great kitchen with...a mix of quantity and quality. We need to come back to try it again with a live concert! Rock'n'roll! See you soon!
This is a really great bar if you enjoy being deafened by an Elvis impersonator so much that you can't even order your beer because no one can hear you. Oh...
