We were already twice in the restaurant to the eichbaum. we are completely enthusiastic. an unexcited and sympathetic service. the kitchen is excellent. absolut... read more We were already twice in the restaurant to the eichbaum. we are completely enthusiastic. an unexcited and sympathetic service. the kitchen is excellent. absolute recommendation: speciality of the house are the mini smokeys to the appetizer. also the curry sausage is uniquely good! the price-performance ratio is very reasonable! necessarily take the homemade apple cake to dessert! we'll be back.

Very typical local, near the river, eat good, kind owner, however to report that in my opinion it is not a place with cheap prices. I recommend it.

I have eaten in many restaurants in the city, but I must say that this was the best North German food I had during my multi-week stay in hamburg. I ordered a few seafood casrols that made my heart melt. the interior seats are surrounded by the most unique furnishings. Unfortunately this meal was one of my last before the departure, otherwise I would have come back. this is the only restaurant where I decided to take photos in hamburg because I really wanted to remember it! no idea whether it is worth getting out of town, but if they are in the opposite they will definitely see it!
