Contribute FeedbackWhile I (hamburg) visited lust for Indian, after reading of experiential reports on google/tripadvisor I decided for Zala.First impression:- restaurant played Arabic music.- the personal voice Arabic among themselves- table what I got kaput (wacky), service was not particularly interested to point another table.I ordered as an appetizer “Pakora, and restaurant
We stayed there at a weekend at midday and there were two guests apart from us.The service was friendly, prompt and attentive during our stay, but not intrusive. The chairs and tables with their oriental ornaments stand out in the decor. we ordered a mixed dish, two chicken dishes and a vegetarian food. all three eating met our taste in their sharpness and they also corresponded to the description in the menu. Of course, rice was served to eat and there was also papadam with three sauces. the papadam was pretty sharp. to compare: our main dishes were milder. the portions were so large that we (maybe also because of the appetizer) did not eat everything. on our request, the rest were naturally packed to take.We enjoyed our visit.
Zala wandsbeker chaussee - actually the top address for the Indian cuisine. However, today so much has been missing to write - I really felt so beautiful...Samosas was for whatever reason - not what I found very bad. the rothi’s unfortunately came cold to the table, which I also complained. three and a half minutes later they were not really warmer, but our others were cold when I sent them back to the kitchen. I missed the kick I felt otherwise here. beef madras and chicken tikka were really ok, but you can't talk about excellent. but even chefs sometimes have their drolly 5 minutes, which I might have caught tonight. However, the calculations also proved to be a great challenge, as one had booked a meal on another table. to add the two sums, we asked to use the calculator of the handy, which we have in the head for the waiter - solved for the. "tripel a" can't be forgiven today, but a valuable b. I come in every case to the next weeks again and would be madly happy to enjoy the high standard, how!
The restaurant has a beautiful Indian ambiente. I had already seen the map online and then decided for a chicken tikka masal. as in most Indian restaurants, there was a bread with three sossen on a tablet, but it only came with delay. The eating was very good, both tastefully and also from the size of the portion. However, when serving, you can make sure that I haven't got a key yet.Abzüge gibt es für die service, as well as for the prices, I had seen onlien a price of 11,50 euro, in the restaurant it then cost 13,90 euro. the prices should be adjusted to all media.
Just arrived in hamburg and on the way to the hotel we came past zala and ate there to night. the reception was friendly, but the service afterwards was not so much. I ate the lamb madras I have to admit was very good, although it was mild. when the bill came, I was shocked how much they demanded for a bottle of water. also one of the bottles came open to the table, which was suspicious for me, and then we were placed 3 bottles instead of 2 in bill. the change money back, which was 10 cent. in this type of behavior, the tasty lamb madras is not worth the quality.
