In Hamburg, there are now some Vietnamese restaurants and compared to Yumi, Yumi is cutting off on average. In a four group, the last two times each have received a false dish twice, although it was relatively empty. Tastefully, it's okay, but I've already eaten much more aromatic pho's. What gnizla doesn't like about Yumi:
I tried all the Vietnamese/Asian restaurants in the neighborhood. I have only been once here, but I won't go again. The pho I had here was the most insipid of all the pho soups I have had so far in the area. A fresh, small, hole in the wall type restaurant, with open kitchen, serving proper, well cooked, Vietnamese street food style dishes. Order indoor, over the counter, get your drinks, and they serve your food at the table. Outdoor terrace, with low tables and stools (not ideal for too tall people).. Sharing a starter and a main, is enough for two persons. Clean. Ok local Hamburg beer in bottle (no draft). Fine price value.
This place is good for getting a quick meal. The food is delicious and arrives quickly. It can be very spicy! The sitting area is nicely decorated but not suitable for staying long. It can get very noisy even when the place is not full.
Really tasty wok dishes served in a cool and cozy atmosphere. A word of advice: the chili is really hot!!
Very delicious food if you just want to eat something nice without spending a long time there.
Not just bad food, but not Thai in any way or degree. No taste, no herb, mint or cilantro or otherwise to indicate that this might be Thai Food. Only if you just want cheap rice and veggies and don't care about taste.
