I love the mussels, something I usually cook at home, but with French recipe... so this time, not only enjoyed the good food, but also learned a new cook style! I love it! Besides, the environment and atmosphere are awesome!

What's more, I am sad at all the opportunities lost for eating here over the last year and a half, because the food is truly amazing. There are some dishes that are permanently in the lunch menu, but there's always daily dishes as well. The vegetarian options are consistently delicious, and you can get a business lunch menu (entree, main and dessert) for 18 euro. They also have a lovely complimentary lemon butter served with fresh bread. Can not recommend enough!

We placed our or... read more Understand from my colleagues that this has recently opened in the area, not sure how long ago. Waitress we had seemed to be a little confused. We placed our order only to have her come back to us a short while later to ask what we had ordered!!! That aside, the food was tasty and well presented. I went for the cream of mushroom soup for starters which was wonderfully tasty and creamy then I opted for the fish and chips served with mushy peas. Now, as an English person, may be a challenge to beat some of the fish and chip dishes I can find in the UK but, I did enjoy this one. I'm not a fan of mushy peas but theirs was actually rather nice. The serving size was of a good volume with the fish served lightly battered posh finger stye. We also had dessert which was a lovely vanilla dish with fruit. The lunch menu seems to be a set menu of 3 different dishes for starter and main with one option for the dessert. I got the feeling that they were not expecting to be so busy at lunch time as the waiting staff seemed to be under pressure. After the ordering mishap, we then had confusion over the drinks order which we had to wait for also. It seems that the owners were available to help and get stuck in to help out and make sure the customer experience was still a good one. The set up of the restaurant is nice, clean lines and bright, even downstairs so don't get put off if there is only room downstairs. It has a window which looks out onto the river. I am sure they will get over some of the initial teething problems and I'd be more than happy to return when back in Hamburg.

Cooked to perfection but quite a heavy mouthful could have wished for more vegetables and the risotto was a little bland by comparison. No room for dessert.

The food was excellent as usual, and the service was very attentive, never intrusive. We mourn the Trific now and wish the owners all the best for the future!
