Feedback
Was Amani Quigley at Teigtasche a mag?
We walked in from the street, so we had not heard about it before and did not knew what to expect. We ordered the great snack basket for which was delicious. Bread, cheese, nuts and dip. For our main course we shared fried...dumplings in a cheese sauce with different fillings. The whole experience was positive and, it worth a visit! View all feedback.
What Frank Springer dislikes about Teigtasche:
there with friends curious about the Lithuanian cuisine. but the service was slow, they ran out of beer and the presentation of food terrible. the food itself was so-so, but the whole atmosphere was not good View all feedback.
For over 10 years, the dough bag has the only Lithuanian restaurant in Germany on St. Pauli: Right! Recommended by acquaintances, we searched the place for pre-ordering with a smaller group before a theatre visit on Kiez. A bit inconspicuously located in a side street of the Reeperbahn, it presents itself decorative, homely, dense and cozy. The somewhat heavy wooden rustic interior fits well into the slightly worn/restructured interior, is pieksauber and allows access via stairs to the tress and cuddly club room above as well as kitchens and sanitary area in the basement. Isn't huge, but thanks to the loving decoration and original dark equipment it becomes more and more sympathetic! The menu is varied, almost lush, and offers something for everyone; an all-round offer with Lithuanian specialties and classics served according to country style. You can also find steaks and vegetarians; vegan. The prices of the dishes are not covered and are rather favourable in view of the portions; in the drinks they are kieztypically somewhat above the level. A very friendly lady (Chefin? welcomed us cordially and was prepared to fulfill our wishes in the slot before our appointment at the theatre. She threw the store alone and had to travel some ways between the vaults and the cellar after arrivals by other guests, which she mastered sovereignly. Relatively flotted after drinks (0,5l Lithuanian beer 'Svyturys' bright and dark as well as other beers 6,90€, soft drinks from 3,90€; Wines 0.2l from 6.50€ mixed snack plates were included as an appetizer (13.50 for 2; 19.90€ for 4 snack plates for 4 fried bread strips with garlic, cheese strips with chilli, pepper, and cumin, fried onion rings, roasted plum ham rolls, dried fillet according to “Basturma” Lithuanian style and homemade garlic sauce. Tasty spicy saturating arrived well in the round and a very good portion! For 6 avized, good 9 people could enjoy it. The main courts came because prepared quickly after we abrief them. My fried dough bags Mix plate (23.50€ with 16 pieces(! Mixed plate fried offered various handmade dough pockets with mixed pork, chicken meat, potato onions filled in mushroom cream sauce with cheese baked and stewed white cabbage. Uff; really each individually fresh and tasty, saturating but not too heavy and peppery seasoned. I had to leave a little bit of 'though' to make the plate with a small salad. The cuddly fried pasta bags “Chinkali” with lamb (18,50€ , doughbags lamb fried filled eggplants (vegetarically with fried vegetables in ghee butter, baked with cheese served with buckwheat (figure with rice 21,50€ Filled eggplant and pork ips initial fried type with homemade pork sauce, vegetables (Romania) The surely good desserts we have no longer ordered/created... Thus a successful evening and not least because of the delightful service recommended for imitation!

Was twice there, both time got stuff on my bill I did not ordered. Seems like a normal thing there to charge for a few more drinks or dishes, if you are in a group. Nobody gonna notice anyway!! Well, we noticed both times and...got even not a sorry for this try!! Stuff was really arrogant and unfriendly
I had bad home sickness, so a friend of mine and me decided to go to this Lithuanian restaurant yesterday. Not Russian but some pretty similar meals. We've...
Anyone who likes or wants to taste Eastern European cuisine is right here. All the dishes we ordered there until now were freshly prepared. With fresh I mean homemade, as the preparation of some dishes is very time-consuming and not every restaurant offers this homemade. That's how to find the local class. Attention: only cash payment possible.
