nice eating at a reasonable price. Top brands for the energetic and friendly staff who had a busy night and unfortunately served our children 10 minutes later than we. definitiw recommended for families when the parents. something extraordinary and the children are easy for pizza. What Aliyah O'Hara doesn't like about Rocco:
reservation worked well. the rest was moderate: waiter was overwhelmed. the seats were tight. that was good. prosecco at the beginning was ok (free). the music too loud. very dark. I didn't think so intoxicating. we were 8 people. View all feedback.
Noisy but very friendly! I spent a very good dinner with insulat di mare et scampis al olio with a good glass Italian vino rosso! C’est bon la vie!

I, along with three friends visited this restaurant last weekend and first impressions were great, since the venue is beautiful inside, beautiful ambiente. but here the warm, fuzzy feelings are stopped. the menu is very limited, which is not always a bad thing, how to...many choices can mean that eating served not the attention to details they expect, especially in an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, the limited options do not have in the food we have ordered that live up to expectations. I and a friend ordered the beef carpaccio for our starter and it was possibly the most tasteless food I have ever put in my mouth. also no amount of salt improved them. simply terrible. the other two in our party ordered the bruschetta and were equally disappointed, both claimed it was very spoiled. I would have gone out there and then it was late, we were all really hungry, it was a long day and we met friends at a certain time, so no time had to find another place, and we all decided to bless ourselves as our main thing, so that they can't go wrong at least, right? I mean, it's an Italian restaurant, it's a very simple dish. how wrong we were. it came absolutely piping hot, but the upper layer was almost baked like. it was like a crumby crust. when lasagne gets so hot with this type of top layer, it is for me a legend-tale sign that it was beaten in a microwave. no great start. then the taste. knäuel now I know different cooks/cooks have their own twist on what and what not to add to lasagne, but everyone I have ever tried has the mere minimum of cheese, tomato and chop meat. not at giovanni. absolutely zero tomat taste, almost no trace of bark at all. it was like we got a sharp microwave box with a strange grid crust. but our experience was not to end with eating. Oh, no. we have all paid an equal amount that came back to us for €7/8. we never saw the remaining money. it has never been brought to our table again. at no point have we told the guy who waits our table that he could accept this change. it is a very small amount, that is not my handle. my question was that the staff just had to decide that it was her as a drink. I've never eaten in a restaurant where that happened, and from all the restaurants where that happens, it had to be, right? I can count on one side the restaurants that I was in and not let a tipp, but this place would certainly have been with this list. we just walked out of the place after our money didn't appear 10 minutes after our payment. we should complain after that, but we were already late to meet with friends, so we didn't do it. if they are tasty, bland food or simple dishes that have left the most basic ingredients and are naked in a customs of their life, then giovanni is the place for them. otherwise they avoid all costs.
In some earlier reviews it was somewhat hesitant, but we ate this week with two young children and had a really wonderful evening. we sat quickly and quickly from free prosecco for the adult and fizzy apple juice for the children (they were super satisfied.) the staff was friendly and polite and did not ask our children on the eyebrow. no cheese on the cheese pizza! sauce on the side of pasta etc. the eating was fresh and tasty and delivered with a smile, also excellent aperol splash. we ate early (quiet children, etc.), but the restaurant filled up while we were there and had a big ambiente. we'll be back!
I have ordered Italian vegetable soup and received after 45 min something like ‘Are you kidding me!!?’.. felt like frozen veggies with some spicies.. Then I had calamary with scampy, very average. Since we were waiting in total 1 hour (without any warning before)...and the quality and service were poor but atmosphere ok I give this time 2 stars! Sorry guys, you could do much better!!
