Restaurant Schoppenhauer - Hamburg

Loved the menu, the location, the service and of course eating. a jewel if you want to try real German kitchen and gassing!

The restaurant is ok, that also eat, but they advertise with goodwill that they cannot redeem. you feel demolished. not nice and not recommended

I was in the sir nikolai hotel and needed somewhere for a decent dinner. this was excellent around: 10 tables (on a fast look round) plus stool at the bar. decent, solid, German food. very friendly service.

Very nice ambience, excellent food, friendly service. We could have imagined the payment process a bit more discreet, we would have wished to submit the invoice in a small folder so that you can decide where and how to pay. We have the demand whether we want to pay cash or by card, put the EC device directly on the table, which disturbs the table conversation. We also felt providing tips (0.5,10,15% as guardianship, the rounding up to a round amount was not possible. This very technical payment process did not match the rest of the ambience that was really excellent, we would call it "high cosiness". The staff was consistently friendly, the food was very delicious. We express a clear recommendation and will certainly return.

Once again, the path led me to the Schoppenhauer and it was great as always. My colleague was, just like me, Mega enthusiastic and we felt very comfortable. The food and service were absolutely brilliant. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thanks to the whole team. Best regards Sven
