The largely unchanged map for years offers good Italian classics. On the wine map you will find fine drops, partly stunningly expensive, but also with affordable bottles. The restaurant is situated in Hotel Elysee, which is nice. I had a Caesar Salad, which was booring. Then Spezzatino fillet of veal) should have been medium but were almost well done and dead. Dessert was three icecream in OIL, which only purpose I think) was to land on my shirt because it did nothing good to the icecream ! View all feedback.
Don't be fooled by the Italian sounding name. This restaurante is several tiers above spaghetti and meatball dinners. Our first course was an avocado blend that you could close your eyes and eat and it melt in your mouth. The entree was a baked fish tipped with 2 shrimp and sides of spinach and boiled potatotes. I don't recall the name of the fish but it was heavenly. And the dessert was 3 miniature glasses with ice cream and different toppings never imagined. Don't forget the coarse nomemade bread and the special olive oil. When you consider the special conversations all around our tables, it was one of the best dinners ever!
We arrived late with 2 kids age 11 got a table in the outside of the restaurant were live music was placed, ok attempt to create atmosphere. We quickly got both food and drinks, was presented to days menu and expected to wait but flow was great. Service was excellent little details of pouring oil and making little plates adds points in my book. We all had different disches all well prepared in good Italian style. Prise tag was acceptable 4 persons 6 dishes, wine etc.around 125€
A final night in Hamburg and what a meal with which to finish. Antipasto, then liver for Sue and the veal for me, followed by a wonderful strawberry dessert. Very friendly and professional staff.
Good service, nice eating, but not excellent. for the price they pay the restaurant can be much better.
We are in the Grand Elysee guest for several years and always enjoy this hotel. It is high-priced, but also consistently good quality. The portions were completely fine until then. Now it becomes marginal. A fillet steak for 43 euros with 2 potatoes and some spinach plus a 150 gr. Steak. Sorry, you start thinking about whether you want this. The relationship is no longer true!
