Woman and I made a short holiday and went through the streets of hamburg, and of course a look at the rat house, we were here to lunch and got hungry, and woman... read more Woman and I made a short holiday and went through the streets of hamburg, and of course a look at the rat house, we were here to lunch and got hungry, and woman suggested to find a macdonald .... and then i saw the sign pfeffersack, and we decided to try it out:-) it is more a caffe than a restaurant, located in the courtyard of the commercial chamber. the food is good, fish fresh, and in good German tradition you get more than you can eat :-) the price is lower than I expected for this good location approx. 7.00 € for a main purpose. it is a lunch restaurant, which is why the largest part of the guests is in suit, so we were discarded in sandal and shorts, but still felt welcome. if we go back to hamburg, we will surely repay a visit.
