We had an awful struggle to get the bill too, staff seemed friendly but were just hopelessly disorganised, even on a fairly quiet Sunday evening. If this is Hamburg's best, it's a shocking state of affairs. Our local small-town pub back home is miles better!

We didn't book but they managed to get 8 of us seated within 15 minutes of arriving. Staff were friendly and the service was great.

The meat cakes are from supermarket and the bread is average, nothing special! They charge more for the place, than for the quality of the food and drinks they serve.
