Morellino - Hamburg

Went there for our anniversary and had a very pleasant evening! Super nice staff that provided a very relaxed evening. Fantastic food!

Great evening with great meals. We had the tasting menu 1 tonight you can taste the quality of the ingredients being used and the passion for the cooking process, resulting in fantastic dishes and special creations. We enjoyed the evening and will come again.

Went with the extended family last week. Had forgotten how good it is, in my opinion one of the very best restaurants in Hamburg. I notice many reviews mention the price, and it is not a cheap restaurant, but you definitely get what you pay for. They use high quality ingredients and the food is cooked extremely well. The atmosphere is not overly formal and they are very kids friendly they are happy to make something for small kids... It is quite hard to decide what to eat as almost everything is a special and the owner goes into so much detail, you end up slightly confused. It's better to decide if you want meat, fish, pasta etc and let the owner choose... Having said that, I tried several of the dishes and they were all excellent the lamb kidneys were expertly cooked and my veal cheeks were melt in the mouth. In the past, I have eaten outside on the terrace when it was warmer it's a better option that inside if the weather allows.

The pair of hoses is positiw crazy about taste and quality of their food....it is a special experience!
