this place is really wonderful. 1) the dishes are quite authentic yet innovativ. 2) the display is simply beautiful 3) the taste is heavenly 4) the price is reasonable when they go to the lunch menu. of course quality always has its price. the interieur is beautiful and it feels cozy. What User dislikes about Marend:
Very small place, so better reserve a table. Really nice and cosy atmosphere and friendly service. Good and traditional Austrian food, however probably not the most obvious options you would expect (no Schnitzel here since the can't fry due to the open kitchen). Many vegetarian dishes. The best noodle with a gulasch in the city! while the choice is limited to just a few tirole dishes, all are perfectly balanced and just raised. the place itself is small, but cozy and welcoming.

What a Jewel! the staff is absolutely delightful, eating is complex and satisfying, and the setting is simply beautiful. it's something out of the way, but it's worth it for the experience.

Great personal, fair prices and very cozy. it is really small, so a reservation helps definitiw. the tellers are quite small, so I would not recommend it if they are really hungry.
