The fries are INCREDIBLE!!! The best place for a little snack in between A must for every Hamburg fan
A friend of mine recommended a visit here and so we spontaneously went there. I wasn't the only one who was pretty disappointed. We both had currywurst fries. The sausage was ok. But the sauce tasted bland and didn't really taste like curry. Seemed a bit like an industrial product. The fries were okay, but a tiny bit very salty. Service staff were a little grumpy and not all that friendly, but that's probably how you have to be in the neighborhood. To be honest, I've had much better currywursts during my visits to Berlin than here in my hometown. It's a shame, really.

We have been going to Lucullus for several years when we crave a currywurst. Besides, we have rarely eaten such good fries. We come from Uhlenhorst and are happy to take the route to Lucullus in conjunction with a stroll through St.Pauli. Highly recommended,!
