Food and service were great. The decor looks authentic, the lamps and accessories can be bought in part. 1 star deduction for missing credit card acceptance... and the Mokka could be stronger View all feedback.
What Gunnar Buchholz doesn't like about Le Marrakech:
I have booked for two high-class foreigners and when we arrived with a visible table, we were very arrogantly rejected. the German owner made dismissed remarks and the German lady in front of the house was the same. Do not go if they have dark skin ... inderin ... from pakistan ... or Africa etc. the elegant Moroccan lady with us was ashamed of the way her country was represented. in the next restaurant they were rec... Already when entering the former factory hall you feel like being marokko. It is a pleasure to stroll through the halls and admire all the exhibited Moroccan lamps, chairs, tables, mirrors etc. The staff is not trained and doesn’t ask for more or does not come to the table at all. Besides, you will be immediately geduzt:maybe usual in the orient....but in Hamburg?Egal,to eat in the village is a real highlight and I can only recommend, all because of the ambiente!
I like it so well here that I even had a Christmas party with my company. Once you have found it and have a little creepy way to the parking lot behind you, you will dive into 1001 nights. nothing remembers an old locomotive, you stand right on a basar. the food is so excellent and every taste becomes fragrant, from the meatier to the vegan and even our allergy sufferers found the right for themselves. as if one had risen to a flying carpet and landed in the orient.
We were at the event oriental night in the le marrakech. the buffet was very good and the selection of dishes was very extensive. the service was extremely friendly but sometimes used for the drinks a little longer. the chef was also kind, but this evening something was forced.
A friend of mine who lives in hamburg has invited us to this restaurant. locationdas hotel is located in the suburbs of hamburg and is a great surprise. Located in the middle of a residential courtyard, the location is really amazing, a real Moroccan riad with a beautiful courtyard surrounding the main building, rich in flowers and aromatic herbs. in the interior of the building reminds of a riad: furniture, lamps, carpets, flowing at the walls, fountains, scents of mint and seasoned. every corner is different and everything is in offer. if they like a cup, a table, a flowing, a lamp or a tajine, they can buy them. it is surprising how an architect could have transformed an old tram into an amazing little Moroccan village. eating is another cap. they are located at a place where they dream from the first moment, and they expect to enjoy the same selection of aromen, but unfortunately the quality of eating is not comparable to the location. there is a quite good selection of appetizers, tajines with a mix of couscous mixed with meat, fish or vegetables. there are also soups and other recipes with lamb, seafood, sweet and so on. beautiful presentation, but the quality is average, not bad, but average in consistency and taste. they could do more because the look is important, but you can not just eat with the eyes.
Very nice ambiente and decor, friendly staff. extensive appetizer buffet, delicious main dishes. you should have a little bit of space in the skin for the dessert buffet. An experience value! However, I found the toilet situation for the number of guests rather bad!
