We went there with our Italian friends for dinner. The atmosphere is ok, large screen with soccer on only live streaming and not continously in the bistro part, more upscale on the other side of the restaurant. Staff was very friendly. Maybe it helped that...they immediately connected with our friends! Food was very good. Starters and main courses were excellent. Pizza tasted well and so did the meat and the pasta. T... What Odie Kling doesn't like about La Bottega Lentini:
This place is not about the food, the atmosphere and service are alright, I guess in summers outside will be nice, but the food can only be considered as average...there are better cooks around... View all feedback.
Walked around area for a while and settled on this place because of the amount of locales hanging and dining here. Opted to sit inside and was placed at the bar. Found bartender to be attentive even as he poured drinks and made copious amounts of espresso later in evening. He constantly talk to me and made sure that my meal was satisfactory. They did have a menu in English however no prices were listed but I scanned the one in German and was pretty sure of my choice, the seafood salad. Happy with the variety which included grilled calamari, salmon, mussels, clams, prawn, and fish. All this on a bed of greens. I was satisfied with my meal and followed up with Gelato from a small place two doors down.

This is your typical neighborhood Italian joint, were everyone loves to go and get together. Everytime I have gone there they are always full so you may have to wait a bit for seating or simply make reservations.Their dishes are pretty good, they can be pricey though so keep that in mind, however it is worth to visit because it will give you a good experience of Italian food, locals socializing and good service for sure.
Located among a number of Italian restaurants in Eppendorf, we were very happy to have chosen it. The weather was really nice so we decided to sit at one of the many outside tables, but this very quickly became crowded due to the football match on TV so we moved inside to actually have dinner. The surroundings is that of an Italian cafe/bistro and quite warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly, helpful and well versed in English if you're not a master of the German language. The food choices are plentiful, the portions are generous and the flavor is absolutely authentic and awesome! The menu is very wide and diverse and offers a lot of choices, but don't forget to check the specials or you just might miss something really special. The price is very affordable and great value for money. Whether you want to sit outside in an Italian sidewalk cafe environment or inside in the warmth of a local village bistro, you won't be disappointed.
We decided to try lentini because it looked like a nice location and had decent reviews. The greeting without a smile and a decidedly indifferent attitude (how a waitress can manage to consistently look away when she addresses you is beyond me) didn't bode well. We both decided on the pasta with shrimps. At more than 13 euros we expected something decent. What we received was pasta out of a packet with an unimaginative sauce and a few shrimps. Charging that much for pasta that they simply poured into a pan of boiling water is a cheek & I certainly could have made something better at home. Only one star because the service was equally poor... Overall I would have to say stay clear... there are so many better and more friendly Italian restaurants...
