We had a good look and we were surprised. very nice reception, very nice hospitality / service and a very good food. our bottle of wine was also excellent. our waiter has always recommended us - we had the desire - very good things and regardless of price. it was explicitly asked what we want and then we decided. to the happiness we have booked a voucher by coincidence and look forward to the next visit - in 2 weeks... Very beautiful sushi with a personal that is a tad awkward. Otherwise I appreciate what you get for your money.
We had not booked - this was a spontaneous family dinner - but were warmly welcomed in the kyodai. our food began with free drinks and some olives and a distillery. our son, 9 years old, also got an aperitif - not the straw beer prosecco that we had, but sensibly served in an identical glass that began a special dinner for him, where he explored the menu and ordered with our charming, attentive waiter carefully and talked about the food that was served him. we ate sushi in various sorts, gyoza and a bean cucumber meal prepared with a cocos sauce, the latter rather south-east Asian than Japanese, but the Kyodai kitchen seems to do more than Japanese food and does it very well. none of the dishes were strange to us, but each one was characterized by the fresh and clearness of its aromas: high-quality ingredients, precisely prepared (and beautifully presented). our sohn then ate a dessert on a banana basis, the result of the talk of the waiter with him about his taste and a "let it with me"? like to accept a sign of his not everyday trust in waiter and kitchen. that was an excellent eating and a charming service that made a spontaneous eating a special experience, especially for a child who was pleased to be taken as own hospitable as banished into the fluffy of a child menu. the high-quality courts of kyodai are available at a reasonable price. it deserves support.
The eppendorfer landstraße wandering, we were looking for a delicious dinner. for the first time we visited the restaurant kyondai - a Thai restaurant with large sushi map in the ludolfstrasse near the romantic wedding church. To welcome there was a fruity aperitif and a small greeting from the kitchen in the form of mild olives and refined seasoned fresh cucumbers. Our three different dishes were all extremely delicious; especially the great variety of hot and cold sushi specialties was simply great! the price-performance ratio is more than fair.In the interior in the colonnaden area, rathaus and mönckebergstraße I have visited five different sushi restaurants in the last few years in my lunchtime sushi regularly, because I very much like sushi eat, but none of these restaurants can also just keep close with the restaurants. Conclusion: my next visit will be in this week in the kyodai, so much is fixed!
The sushi is very good, very fresh and beautifully dressed. There is a small soy-sesame seed salad and a champagne free on the house (whether that's what I don't know). the service is also very friendly and attentive. the location is unfortunately somewhat outdated, still has the charm of the previous steakhouse, but this is not so bad. it is still cozy and the most important is the quality of the food. ps: you can also order there, supply and pick up and such a good quality you rarely get delivered to home!
I was already in sushi restaurants all over the world, but so far the quality / the price was the best. the food takes a little longer, as it is prepared from ground to only for it, instead of preparing and serving everything quickly. they have a Japanese chef at the bar and can see how he does it. beautiful place and best eating at an absolutely fair price. love it!
