Went there for a drink one of those rare days during the week when it isnt too cold or isn't raining. Around the Alster but intimate at the same time: the outdoors tables face the Alster but the restaurant is a hedge from the multiple runners and the street An der Alster. Drinks are priced just like any other cafe in the city, which is a pretty good thing when you can enjoy the water view...and should I say it, much better than standing around that Alsterperle thing. They also serve some pastries and others snacks which I havent tried. The lack of stars are mostly for the service which is efficient but not the most welcoming one. I was invited so I didnt pay, if I had to, I wouldnt have left any tip. All in all good retreat for a first eve drink
The prior reviews are old and Cafe Prusse has definitely changed for the better! The service is very friendly and the owners are usually on-site. This is a great place for a casual meal or a cocktail, especially at sunset on a nice day.
Had a beer and ordered a pizza after the waitress and manager suggested it. After waiting for 45 more minutes I asked for the pizza to go. They hadn't even started it yet!!! An hour wasted and so I left for dinner elsewhere. Terrible service to not even notice I was just sitting without my food.
