Too casual for our taste, service friendly at the beginning but as more people started to order we were simply forgotten' f.e. wine and water were not re-filled, service was just too busy to care for all guests properly. Food was fine although we...felt that the starters and deserts were too expensive. Good wine list, albeit rather pricey as well. We left with mixed feelings; there are better options in Hamburg. Best late night restaurant in the world! You can get real food and wine when every restaurant in Germany closes the kitchen at 10. The food it 2 star quality! If the Tartar is available try it! It charges seasonally I think but every time...it's great. Wine list is not huge but well selected with thoughtful wineries and a good variety. This is a good Late night restaurant industry spot.
We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and visited on the basis of the good reviews. The food was presented beautifully but unfortunately we found some of the flavours combinations a bit strange (duck pate with chocolate sauce? . There was definitely more focus on style...rather than substance, and the service was not particularly friendly either. Overall I'd say the food was overpriced and pretentious. Having said that, the homemade bread was delicious!
A couple of us went here because we read good reviews on trip advisor. Fine atmosphere, good wine, great prices, food is very tasty and nothing but compliments for a very friendly staff. Definite thumbs up from up
Visited a week ago? Oh, Google. It's been permanently closed for almost a year. Prices are a bit on the high side.
