There's a slightly complicated way of selecting what you want i.e. a tick-box exercise with not much support from waiting staff. Of course i would've ordered "full-english" but I guess that would have brought question marks in...the waitress' eyes? So i ticked a few boxes and hoped for the best. The food that arrived was excellent although my eggs and bacon were a bit funny (i.e. bacon over-cooked), but the "German" bit of the breakfast, was great. TEA is not what they do well there. The water wasn't boiling (important for tea-leaves to open) and the for a luke-warm glass-cup of Darjeeling was, frankly, quite bad! Perhaps best to leave tea to those who know how to make it. I then ordered a cup of coffee, which was much better. The shocker came when the bill arrived and our party of three paid nearly per head. Hence not a cheap breakfast. Overall I don't think I'd go again, but would perhaps try to go on a warm summers' evening and try some cocktails!

The view on the city pond, taken from a comfortable beach basket (Strandkorb) was nice and relaxing. Staff super friendly and quick. Amazing number of drink...choices.
