After the long renovation this side of the high-air bridge, which added a lift to it, the Einstein chain decided to leave the building and now a brand new resta... read more After the long renovation this side of the high-air bridge, which added a lift to it, the Einstein chain decided to leave the building and now a brand new restaurant, just two weeks old, has opened up as grindelberger. the ambiente is brand new, bright and fresh. in contrast to the dark and pub-like old. the menu is now quite simple, with few salads, steaks and pizzas, and the prices are higher than what you use at Einstein! they have not yet made any marketing, but the location will help anyway. for a quick bite it is worth a visit, so far.

Coconut curry suppe, garnelen kebab, olivenmix and barbados salat (mixed salate with ananas) were ok, but nothing wow. but they should not expect gourmet food here: just dinge, made right. the garnels tended to overdone and dry, although everything was served with a garnel kebab, so they do not really need to order the extra! the service was friendly and the food was served quickly. the total invoice was 42, which appears fair. it was a good basis for the drinks we had in several bars afterwards. there are 6 Einsteins in hamburg and we come back.
