Nice atmosphere, lovely terrace, cheating waiters and crown is the diarrhea. I was seated inside, which I requested. Then they brought me menu. Of course it wasnt lunch menu as it would have been over twice as cheap. Then another waiter comes. He says there is no fish plate for 9,50€. Then he realizes I have seen the lunch list outside. "Oooh, they give you the wrong menu".... Then I order non alcoholic beer but I make also mistake. I dont say how much that beer costs in the menu. That gives in the Portuguese waiter mind the privilege to bring me double the size of beer even if I have pointed out by finger the smaller one. So they didnt manage to cheat me on first time but second one hit the home run. Then I got diarrhea from the fish. Authentic Portuguese restaurant as ever.

Lost quality since my last visit, not only the food but also the staff turns to be rude, unfortunately, but is always crowded for lunch or dinner especially the terrace in sunny days. Food this time was OK, not so tasty as in the past and had the impression you should eat fast to give the seat/table to the "possible" next customers.As there are so many Portuguese restaurants in the area, we can change.

We went in by chance. It was a quietish Tuesday evening and it was about 30-40% full. The menu had a picture (always wary of those) of a meat and fish platter for two with salad , bread and 50cl of wine for €39. My better half is a fussy eater and I'll generally hoover up whatever she doesn't so we went for that and actually it was unfussy but pretty good. Meat and fish were fresh and tender, the salad and bread fresh, and the house white was medium dry and quite agreeable. The meal came with fries and boiled rice as well.The staff may be a little on the reserved side but I found them to be courteous and efficient, we had an enjoyable evening there and I'd repeat the experience but would go mid-week.

Picked it without checking on Tripadvisor. Bad choice. Had the fish plate with 5 different sorts of fish ... noone fresh. There are many better offers in the area so look out.

I've been here 2 times, recently last week.We had house steak and it was quite good. They have a nice selection of wines with reasonable prices. Previous time I tried fish and it was quite average. They have many group of tourists and quite reasonable prices in the menu, so don't expect anything spectacular. In any case a safe choice for nics relaxing dinner.
