Not only do Carroux know how to roast and prepare great coffee they are one of the few Hamburg micro roasters renowned at least across Germany but they also know the qualities to accompany their coffee. An example would be Carroux' partnership with French high end chocolatier Bonnat, whose chocolates they serve here. Nice coffeehouse atmosphere and a loyal clientele a Blankenese institution.

Finally a cafe that provides expertly made coffees in Blankenese. If -like me- terrible coffee makes you cranky, this is the perfect place to have a relaxed coffee paired with a chocolate croissant or a nata on the back porch, have a take-out for a nice walk down to the beach or buy their excellent beans for your coffee machine at home.
