Very friendly staff, super tasty and versatile food, relaxed French ambience, as I can imagine a classic brasserie in the heart of Ottensen! Thank you for the nice evening and until soon again! View all feedback.
Very pleasant and fairly authentic French brasserie in Ottensen. The tables are fairly packed together, as you might expect, but the atmos is good. I had Beauty and the Beast to start, which is a mousse de canard with pork rillettes, which was delicious. To follow was a superb steak frites (see photo! . The dessert was slightly less impressive, pear tart, but the accompanying ice cream was very nice. Three courses plus wine for EUR45 per person a la carte, the set menu is EUR28.
Wonderful restaurant, amazing food! Unpretencious; cosy; rustic, but shick; dim light, but high ceilings of old building. That's exactly how French provencal restaurant should be, they got it rght! Expect French classics like coq au vin, creme brulee, tart au chocolait, etc. Expect them melt in your mouth and crave for more. Yes, you've got the idea, I'm a fan now : Beware though: it's very popular, so book in advance. And it's not cheap.
Lovely little restaurant in Altona. Short menu (you can eat off the Menu or a la carte). If you reserve you get a free aperitif in my case champagne with fresh raspberries in yum! Service not totally up to scratch especially as when we arrived there was only one other table full. My starter of raw sliced duck should have been delicious, but the tender delicately flavoured meat was subsumed by too much sauce and vinegarette on top of it. Steak frites was fab.
Very well eaten! Friendly service and very furnished! The most beautiful place is at the window opposite the bar!
Mega good food and very traditional. Loved and sweet location. You're welcome.
