Baakennest - Hamburg

My colleague and I love this place. We recently opened our office nearby and as there is so little in the area, is somehow forced to use this as our lunch place. It is a simple café with a small bar and a post office. In addition, they have kiosks like the offer of things I suspect to use people in the apartments above. The menu is quite limited food wise, but they have daily changing lunch specialities. It's nothing special, but it's usually good and super cheap, so who should complain. Yes Diversity would be nice, but you are here at the end of the world in terms of Hafencity logistics. This is an outpost and not a mainstream place right now. Do not complain that they are not flexible or have more choices. Once the area is built, they have to work to keep up, but for now this is a little diviner for those who work in the area and do not want to eat a sandwich at their desk every lunch. We also know the people who work here, and they recognize us. Confidence makes it so much more inviting.

A nice little place in the Baakenhafenquartier. Today we have only tried the excellent freshly baked waffles and the coffee from the sieve carrier machine. But the card with the breads and the small beverage selection reads very well. The sun terrace on the water is unbeatable without car noise. A nice little shop in the Baakenhafen district. Super delicious fresh waffles, great potty cafe, nice operation. Always worth a visit. Come back.

Great bistro with delicious homemade lunch table. Very good atmosphere with really nice staff!
