What User doesn't like about Barmbeker Herzstueck:
The staff at this restaurant seemed unfamiliar with the distinctions between soy and tofu. The vegan bolognese was overcooked and lacked seasoning, but the vegan croissant was delicious. View all feedback.
The service had no idea about the difference of soya and tofu etc. Vegan Bolognese was boiled and no spices. Vegan Croissant was delicious.
Located near Barmbeker Station, this cafe is a hidden gem. The owners, a lovely couple, are always friendly and busy serving both large and small guests with homemade dishes. Currently, their pumpkin soup is a highlight, as well as their selection of homemade cakes and pastries. The breakfast options are also impressive, with a special offer for two including freshly squeezed orange juice and champagne for only 14.90 euros. They even make their own jams. As a regular customer, I highly recommend this cafe as it is truly unique in the area. The prices are reasonable, with a large bowl of soup priced at 5.90 euros.
