Tomahawk Steakhouse - Hambleton

We made a night for our jubilee. eating was just sensational. our starter of the bauch schwein was beautiful, we had the Sharing plate for our most important steaks cooked to perfection and the garnel were from this world. we have also pushed out the boat and the half added a lobster-wow and desserts. well, yes, yes! the service was amazing of the minute we went into the minute we went. we have booked the suite for the night and it was amazing the bathroom was literally 5 stars service on its best. we will be p. s. breakfast next day incl. in the room price was also incredible!

For the night, room was excellent and quality for the price, the service and welcome from anyone who works there is 5 stars, I had problems parking, but the administration had it sorted within 10 minutes, meals were nice considering that the steaks were expensive, we have spent more on a night spent in couples on taxis and drinking without meal, well worth every penny management

We stayed overnight and had an excellent visit. Our room was large and comfortable and great value for money. Dinner was superb. We started by treating ourselves to cocktails which were very good. For main course we shared the Chateaubriand which was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our four side orders were all very tasty. After a good night’s sleep we enjoyed a great breakfast. The service throughout our stay was top quality. Unfortunately on leaving we found that our car had a flat tyre. The staff were very hospitable and helpful while we waited for the breakdown company to arrive. We had an great stay and would definitely visit again and hopefully we will be able to do the walk that we had to cancel due to the car issue!

Had a brilliant overnight stay at Potto, great customer service from checking in to checking out. We arrived earlier than planned and the restaurant was really busy but the guy who checked us in found us a table non the less. We enjoyed a gin a beer and bottle of wine with some food. We had a table booked later on for dinner so just shared a selection of starters tapas style. Our room (5) was beautifully decorated and immaculate, as was the ensuite. Excellent value at under £50 as it was a Sunday night. After a rest shower wandered down for a couple of drinks before dinner. Great choice of beers, gins cocktails. Our evening meal was just as good, both had parmos and shared a couple of desserts, cookie dough brownie,yummy! Washed down with a bottle of wine and finished with Irish coffees. Hubby even took a shot of malt whiskey up to the room as a nightcap. Next morning we had breakfast, have to mention what a great menu choice and all really well cooked. Checked out and had a little 3 mile wander around the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside surrounding thd pub and called back in for coffees before we headed off home, at that point the young lady serving us said the coffees were on the house. What a fantastic gesture, much appreciated and excellent example of customer service. What an amazing hospitality team at Potto from the front of house, bar waiting staff obviously the chefs kitchen staff judging by the standard of food and not to forget the cleaning team as all areas were immaculate and very well presented. A credit to the business. Thank you! Can't wait to return.
