What Dara de Cogan doesn't like about The Swan:
I M H O this is a pub for locals and regulars. If you are a blow in the welcome is rather plastic. Haven 't tried the food so can 't comment. Parking can be interesting (on the street which is so narrow it 's a one way system or on a postage stamp car park but mind the kerb, lamp post, flower pots and other cars). Beer prices are a bit north of normal. Price per person: £1–10 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback. What User likes about The Swan:
was in the opposite place, entered for a drink and immediately wished we were booked there. large small pub with very friendly and attentive staff. they stay there when we are back in the opposite View all feedback.

read moreNestled in the heart of the village, this pub restaurant evokes mixed impressions among visitors. While some commend its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food, others have encountered less than hospitable service, particularly from certain staff members. Patrons appreciate the hearty Sunday lunch and the inviting, cozy vibe, yet concerns about parking availability persist. The food is generally well-received, with particular praise for the breakfast offerings. Overall, guests highlight the importance of a warm, genuine welcome, as it significantly shapes their dining experience. This charming establishment has the potential for greatness, provided it addresses these service inconsistencies.
