Suggitt's Ices - Hambleton
Suggitt's Ices
Description
Nestled in Great Ayton, Suggitt's is renowned for its nostalgic charm and delicious homemade ice cream, drawing loyal customers seeking a taste of childhood. While many praise the delightful ice cream and quaint sweet shop, experiences with staff have varied significantly. Some visitors report a lack of warmth and hygiene concerns, particularly regarding cash handling. Despite the occasional unfriendly service, the café's popularity persists, with long queues on hot days a testament to its appeal. Ideal for families and cyclists, Suggitt's continues to be a local favorite, though some recommend exploring friendlier alternatives in the area.

I reached the bottom of the dish and still couldn't find the lemon on top... not a hint of it anywhere!
My wife and I frequently travel from Saltburn with our young family to enjoy some ice cream, pick and mix, and a cup of tea, and sometimes even an occasional cuppa.
On Google Maps they are open until 7pm, but we got there at 5.25 and they were apparently shut at 5.30pm?...wouldn't let us in to buy any of their supposed delicious ice cream.. Shocking customer service
