Reviews summary
Dat Bar presents a mixed bag of experiences for patrons. Some guests rave about the vibrant atmosphere and unique menu, highlighting exceptional food items like bruschetta and innovative pizzas, especially the Ragu variety. Friendly and attentive staff create a welcoming vibe, drawing customers back for more. However, others have encountered significant service issues, long wait times at the bar, and overpriced drinks, leading to disappointment. While some beers received praise for their quality, others fell short. Despite these inconsistencies, Dat Bar's eclectic décor and lively ambiance may still charm those willing to overlook a few service missteps.

Went with friends and had a really good night. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Food was really good and would highly recommend the bruschetta with prosciutto or with green veg, both were fantastic. Would also recommend the spicy pizza, it was lush. We would absolutely go back. What doodlebug9176 dislikes about Dat:
Really poor service. Three members of staff behind the bar. One spending time on flourishing cocktail moves and two standing watching as the queue grew. If you want to be seen this place might’ve suit you. If you’d like a drink or receive common courtesy go somewhere else. View all feedback.

Had 3 beers on tap from a menu of 10, none were any good. Roasting hot. No idea what's going on here. The beer was so bad a friend wound up with a bottle Amstel. Horribly expensive and like a sauna.
My twin brother Stephen and I chanced upon this bar as we were pub and bar hopping around this part of town and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a very cool looking eye catching serving bar, eclectic decor and furnishings, lots of interesting features throughout the bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Market Street. We luckily managed to get a table were we ordered a beer each, we chose Thornbridge Brewery passion fruit sour, served in pristine condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar. This was an exceptional beer ,a beer style I love ,a big fan of sour fruit beers after many great holidays to Belgium which brews the best fruit and sour beers in the world, this sour ale was just amazing, a strong citrus taste which I love,so refreshing, such a well crafted beer ,it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew. We really enjoyed our sour ales in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to Dat Bar we were totally impressed. Dat Bar is easy to locate on Market Street. Opening hours are; Monday, Closed. Tuesday to Thursday, 3pm till 11pm. Friday Saturday, 3pm till Midnight. Sunday, Closed. Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.
