We are visiting family from America and decided to try the Sunday Carvery at this restaurant. My father-in-law requested a chicken breast for my picky son, which was accommodated, and also asked for broccoli for my other son, which was also provided. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and polite. My favorite part was that the vegetables were perfectly cooked, not mushy like at other Carveries. Overall, a great experience and we look forward to coming back again!
We went for a family Sunday lunch with four adults and a 5-year-old. The carvery lunch had beef and ham on offer, which was excellent. The service was friendly and the puddings were also excellent. We will definitely be happy to go back.
I have visited this restaurant twice with my family for their Sunday carvery and both times were excellent. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I have also dined here with friends for lunch and had another great experience. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant.
Often the little gems are right in front of your nose. We regularly travel out of town to sample Sunday lunches but today we chose to eat on our doorstep at the golf club and how pleased we were to have made that choice.This was probably the best Sunday lunch I have ever had and so reasonably priced. The beef was done to perfection and the choice of vegetables was wonderful and included my all-time favourites of cauliflower cheese and roasted parsnips. Although I chose not to, we were encouraged to go up a second time by chef Andy who was attentive and friendly throughout our visit.Will we return? Absolutely.
