What Maria Watson doesn't like about Costa Coffee:
I love a Costa, but Stokesley has gone down hill in the last yr and a half, the store as all of them had a referb, nicely done, but needs more comfy seating. It never gets cleaned, the tables are always dirty and full of pots. Coffees are hit and miss, but the staff are always friendly. Toilets and a disabled one with baby changing facilities. Street parking, and plenty of shops near by. View all feedback.
This restaurant is a great spot to grab a coffee and snack! We often take advantage of their breakfast deal, which usually includes a delicious bacon or sausage bap for £2.50. The coffee is consistently excellent, always perfectly brewed. Chris, one of the staff members, goes out of his way to provide exceptional service and make sure customers are satisfied. The atmosphere is very laid-back and relaxing. The restaurant is also accessible for disabled and wheelchair users, with a disabled toilet that has a wide access door, level access, and a small ramp to additional seating.
I wish I could give them zero stars for this! Honestly, my friends and family and I frequent this Costa location often, but the employee there treats us poorly. While their coffee is good, this particular individual is always rude to us for no reason. When we asked for a cup of cream for my dog, he refused, saying he wouldn't do it. The audacity of that man is unbelievable! I will no longer be visiting this Costa because of him. I advise against going there, as he will only ruin your day.
I went out alone with anxiety and it's not something I do often. It was a cold day, so I wanted a hot drink. I brought my dog with me for company. I went to Costa and ordered a light lunch. The manager told me that my dog couldn't come inside because of the no dog sign. He was rude and made me feel terrible. He made me wait outside with my dog while my food was being prepared. I felt embarrassed and upset. The sign on the door wasn't clear at all. I will never return to this restaurant.
Visited mid morning with family. I was disgusted at the state of the place. The cutlery given was not clean, the seating was absolutely filthy, soiled with spilled drinks, food and who knows what. The floors were in a similar state. Obviously an uncared for and neglected establishment with no standards for their customers. There are a lot of nice clean places in Stokesley to get a nice drink and snack. Give this place a wide berth.
As usual great coffee, great food and great staff Whats not so great? New loyalty scheme, much worse than old scheme, but what can yu expect from Coca Cola
