Menu

Here you will find the menu of Coppice Cafe in Hambleton. At the moment, there are 36 meals and drinks on the menu.

Nestled by the breathtaking Aysgarth Falls, this café is a mixed bag for visitors. While many rave about its friendly service, excellent vegan options, and delicious homemade cakes, others express disappointment in food quality and pricing. The welcoming atmosphere and dog-friendly approach are notable highlights, making it a great pit stop after a countryside walk. However, service efficiency needs improvement, especially during busy periods. Despite some menu limitations and costly drinks, the café offers a lovely place to unwind. For those seeking a joyful culinary experience, Aysgarth Falls is worth a visit, but expectations should be managed.

Was MaxPeen at Coppice Cafe a mag?
Had a lunch with four here. Jacked potatoe with Indian bean curry. Wraps with Greek feta and Chili cheese. Very tasty and the service is quite fast! Delightful place to stay after a short hike to the falls. They also have nice cakes. And ice cream. Located behind the visitor centre area in the Main building. View all feedback.

What toemass84382938383 dislikes about Coppice Cafe:
The food served at this restaurant is tasty, but the prices are too high. For example, a small can of Dr Pepper costs $1.95 here, while a bottle of Dr Pepper at the store is only $1.75. View all feedback.

The food at this restaurant was both overpriced and mediocre. The salad was piled on excessively, the sandwich lacked mayo and was dry, and the cheese on the toastie was unpleasant and unmelted. The overall experience was not worth the cost, and I would not recommend this cafe unless you're willing to spend a fortune on a subpar meal. Aysgarth Falls is beautiful, but the restaurant is not worth the visit.

I had the vegan wrap which was delicious and came with a side salad and crisps. My friend had a jacket potato with chilli which they said was very good too. Great value for money

Before Covid we had been to this cafe for the lovely home made scones, jam and cream. We ordered today and we were very happy when the scones arrived they were warm and delicious. Always recommend to friends and family if they are in the area.

On a cold, wet day and after a lovely walk to the falls in splendid full torrent, I popped in to the Coppice Cafe which is discreetly tucked behind the Visitor Centre for a quick lunch. The cafe is warm and cosy with an excellent selection of hot snacks like toasties and baked potatoes, as well as 10 different cakes all freshly made and delicious. (OK I didn’t try all 10 but I could tell they wouldn’t disappoint!)There is a lovely outside seating area as well for when weather permits, but as the inside is dog friendly too it is a perfect place to indulge.

Three of us called on the cafe for a quick lunchtime snack, we had a warm welcome and ordered two homemade vegetable soup’s and a bacon bap at the counter. We were served at our table, the soup was delicious, came with artisan bread and a small pot of grated cheese. Bacon bap was oozing with good quality thick bacon and a salad garnish. We were very happy with our choices and would definately return another day.
