Best boasted chicken ! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
I have waited a few weeks to write this review. Tonight we wanted to go for dinner and all shouted out, NOT MAXX! Traveling back a few weeks ago, we were craving Chicken. We stopped in and it was bingo night, no problem. Not really many people in thebar at all, only people playing bingo. The individuals playing bingo are way into their bingo game to order any meal or anydrinks, leaving the server with nothing to do (we witnessed it). It took forever to get any service of any kind. Once wereceive service, we ordered our drinks and our meal at the same time. We ordered chicken and a few sides. The chicken that issupposed to take 18 minutes plus came in under 10 minutes, arriving before our drinks sitting at the bar. The chicken was coldand overly salty. It had been sitting cooked for quite some time and the beer definitely needed chilling. The corn that wasordered was floating in water, moreso corn broth mixture that was flavorless. In the past, I had ordered a salad with it inwhich was wilted, the mashed potatoes crusted and gravy from a can. We will no longer visit not bring our friends that come fromTexas. You know in the south they love chicken. I will not have my guest let down. If craving chicken, it is worth the timedriving up to the Brass Rail. If you do not want to take the time driving, go to Route 65 as everything is excellent. From along time patron, now disappointed Making a complaint did no use
Pretty good bar overall. Service was good. Food is usually good sometimes there off there game but aren't we all sometimes. Everything is pretty well priced. But one thing to watch out for is there bathrooms always smell. It's not because there dirtybut they have major sewer issues. Never backs up just smells.
