What Robby W doesn't like about The Royal Oak:
After rushing through my visit to this establishment, I accidentally left a box of cigars and a cigar cutter on my table. When I returned to see if they had been turned in, I discovered that they had been stolen by someone in the pub. I was appalled by the actions of the individuals allowed into this establishment. I have no intention of returning to this pub in the near future. It is disheartening to think that some... View all feedback. What Bernard J likes about The Royal Oak:
£6.49 for a decent Sunday roast, can't complain. Gravy was decent and the mash is an absolute belter, the only slight problem was receiving sweetcorn instead of cauliflower cheese but it's hardly a deal breaker, especially when you're paying less than a tenner for a decent meal and a pint of real ale. Cosy little pub with cheap ale and friendly people.

Following a change in management, this traditional pub was transformed into a bustling local favorite with a focus on Real Ales. With a warm beer garden, dartboards, and two TVs, it's become a hub for the community. Although food isn't served, patrons praise the hearty Sunday roasts and affordable prices. The pub recently hosted a wake, delivering an exceptional hot and cold buffet that left attendees raving. Regulars appreciate the welcoming staff and well-maintained facilities, making it a top choice in the area. With a reputation for great ales and friendly service, this pub is a must-visit for locals and visitors alike.
