Limited Sunday menu with many items sold out without prior notification. The waiting staff recommended pizzas as an alternative, only to find out they were also sold out when we attempted to order. Unfortunately, there was no apology from the staff and it seemed as though the blame was placed on us for ordering unavailable items rather than on the poor service for not informing us of stock levels. The Crown is a reliable and well-established venue. It is likely one of the most popular pubs in the area, and once again, we enjoyed a delicious meal from a diverse menu. The bar is well-stocked and we had no complaints about the food or drinks. We have become regulars this year, gradually trying out everything on the menu. We recommend booking ahead during peak hours to secure a table. There is plenty of parking available and it is conveniently located for taxis.
The food at The Crown is delicious, with all dishes freshly cooked to order. I had the rare steak, which was cooked perfectly, and my partner had the roast beef dinner, which she said was delicious. The portions were generous and the staff was great. We will definitely be back.
If you 're looking for a good atmosphere and good food then you need to try The Crown Inn. We dined outside in the 'garden area ' tonight with our children and their friends. We ordered stone baked pizzas, freshly made, absolutely delicious. The homemade chips are a treat too. Thanks guys! The Crown Inn never disappoints!!
The food is nice that’s about it unfortunately very rude staff either on their phone or sat in groups ignoring customers very poor service
