Yesterday, I ordered a coffee and a cake at the restaurant. However, I was mistakenly charged for two cakes instead of one. I brought this to the attention of the staff and they promptly issued a refund to my bank account.
Went here for a quick lunch.Staff looked miserable and worked like robots. I have had friendlier service from the £1 bakery.. Food was nice if not a bit overpriced
This restaurant is a complete scam. I paid £19.20 for 3 bacon and sausage sandwiches, and when I inquired about the high price, I was informed that it was because I requested salad. I hope they aren't overcharging the elderly customers who visit. Despite the high cost, the sandwich was delicious.
Food is lovely but what is wrong with the staff! Make you feel so uncomfortable! Really miserable and seem to hate the job, what happened to customer service? Sort it out!!
I first got my taste of custard tarts here when I was little back in the 60’s. I remember the mini fruit pies and the meat and potato pasties too. Moved to a Kent in the 80’s but whenever we go back to see family a trip to Devonshire Bakery is a must. This time I brought back a selection of things to Kent as nobody makes pies and pasties like them. They are not cheap like Greggs but you won’t be disappointed if you want quality.
