Restaurant Hermes - Halle Saale

I enjoyed a creamy pasta. I also had a salad. Food was delicious, good portions and reasonably priced. I liked the atmosphere. We sat upstairs. I recommend it

I thought a restaurant on the main marketplace in Halle probably didn't need to be all that good to have regular guests. As soon as I walked in to Hermes, I realized I must have been wrong. Almost all the tables were already reserved, but...the kind waiter found us one anyway. I ordered the pikeperch filet on a bed of spinach. Every aspect of this dish was amazing. Delicious fried small potatoes, delicate and delicious breading on the generous portion of fish, tasty spinach rather than the cookedtodeath variety you often encounter. Highly recommended

Good and fast service, delicious food. Nothing more to add. Hard to find a spot without reservation

We found the whole experience bleak. The lamb was rubbery and not properly grilled, the pitta was rock hard and greasy. The English menu made little sense as was very badly translated. Would not return

I have eaten in Hermes a number of times over the last four years and enjoyed the experience each time. The staff are friendly and the portions of food are generous. Recommended for meat lovers
