Was Anonym at Unchained Kitchen a mag?
I often visit Chainyard for the apple wine, but the other night I finally tried the food from their little kitchen. I was absolutely blown away! I ordered just a burger and fries, but they tasted out of this world! I can't wait to return and sample the rest of the menu. View all feedback.
What A K dislikes about Unchained Kitchen:
Got the burger and fries for takeout. Unlike when I got it before, 90% of the fries were extremely tough and dry (but weirdly some were normal). When I mention dry, I mean that they basically turned into chalk/dust when eating it. I don't know if this means that they were refried. The cynical part of me could think that they were discarded by a previous customer, but obviously there's no way to tell for sure.I also sa... I absolutely love this place! The food is fantastic, and there's a wide selection of ciders and beers on tap to pick from!
We were worried about finding a good dinner option after our flight delays left us arriving late. Traveling with a toddler meant we couldn't go to any local pubs or bars at that hour, but Unchained came to the rescue by allowing us to place a takeout order just half an hour before closing time. Two adults and one hungry toddler enjoyed a fantastic French onion burger and a fried chicken sandwich, both served with crispy fries and a delicious garlic dip. The sandwiches were juicy, beautifully put together, and maintained their structure perfectly. The buns held up impressively despite all the fillings. Both had a great balance of meat to toppings. The food traveled well and looked and tasted amazing. I highly recommend it!
The food was outstanding! Almost every item on the menu had a gluten-free option, and they even use separate fryers for gluten-free dishes. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'm really glad we discovered this place!

I've been here a couple of times, but probably won't go back now.
**Dining at Chainyard: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Chainyard has garnered a range of reactions from patrons, showcasing both highs and lows. While many rave about the outstanding burgers and delicious floppy fries, some diners lamented dry, overcooked fries and greasy burgers that fell short of expectations. Despite erratic experiences, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service shine through. Gluten-free options and a wide cider selection add to its appeal, drawing returning customers. Positive encounters often highlight the culinary creations and flavorful balance of their menu items, ensuring that while opinions may differ, Chainyard continues to attract a diverse crowd eager for a memorable meal.

I journeyed from a distant place known as Earth to uncover the hidden treasures this area has to offer, and this restaurant is definitely one of them! The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Overall, the experience was truly remarkable!
The atmosphere was fantastic—very laid-back and unique. The staff was incredible and provided great entertainment (shoutout to Daniel!). The food was the best we had during our entire trip to NS. We were truly impressed. This is definitely a must-visit!
